How are schools planning for a safe return for students this fall?
This year is a school test like none other. Local school leaders are stretching themselves to innovate and problem solve to create options and solutions for providing a safe and sound education for students this fall.
This week we are joined by Ottawa Area Intermediate School District (OAISD) Superintendent, Peter Haines, and Assistant Superintendent for Instruction, Dr. Kyle Mayer to learn what the upcoming 2020-21 school year looks like right now. Dr. Mayer is coordinator of the Ottawa Area's Return to School Taskforce. The two will discuss the collaborative efforts of schools throughout the area to plan and provide a safe return to learning.
#Return2School is a collaborative effort between education professionals, community members, families, and students in the West Michigan area to provide guidance and resources to K-12 districts and schools as they plan for a return to school in the fall.
